The Relational Web

We are living through a convergence of global crises, and at the root of them all is a profound disconnection. For centuries, our economies and policies have treated the natural world as a collection of isolated parts to be extracted. This structural miscoding has brought us to the brink.

But our most advanced scientific frontiers—and our deepest spiritual understandings—reveal that the Earth functions as a living, symbiotic system. To build a regenerative civilization, we must stop treating emerging technologies and regeneration efforts as fragmented silos. We must put science and technology to work for the planet, rather than extracting from it.

The Fractured Frontier

In response to this urgency, new domains are emerging. But because many sit between older extractive models and newer regenerative approaches, they often fracture.

Over a decade of working in frontier domains, global networks, and advocacy, I watched this pattern. Brilliant innovations failing because the environment wasn't ready to receive them. When a new organism—a massive grant, a breakthrough technology—enters an unprepared ecosystem, it will either starve or become invasive.

You cannot drop a seed onto concrete and expect a forest.

Rewilding the substrate

I built Ninth House to do the work of rewilding the substrate. I act as the bridge between institutional capital, radical science, and hard strategy.

I don't just research ecosystems; I connect the nodes within them. I do the unglamorous, structural architectural work required to turn radical empathy into an actionable, investable reality. By designing governance, mapping actors, and aligning capital, I ensure that before an investment is made, the ground is fertile, the substrate is rich, and the potential for sustained, planetary change is actually possible.
